Fury Chilli thrives in warm, sunny climates and is highly valued for its commercial-grade resilience and high pungency.
Growing Conditions
Climate & Sun: Requires full sun and high ambient temperatures. It is highly heat-tolerant, making it well-suited for hot, open-field cultivation.
Soil & Moisture: Prefers well-draining, fertile soil. While it has intermediate resistance to Phytophthora (root rot), it grows best in soil that is kept consistently moist but never waterlogged.
Maturity Time: Reaches harvest readiness approximately 90 to 95 days after transplanting seedlings into the field.
Plant Structure: Grows into a strong, medium-to-tall upright bush. It features excellent foliage cover that protects the developing fruit from sunburn.
Primary Uses
Processing: The high heat and thin walls of the pepper make it ideal for drying into chilli flakes or powder, as well as pickling.
Culinary: Used extensively in its raw green or ripe red state to add sharp, intense heat to curries, hot sauces, and traditional Indian or Thai-style dishes.
